Program Summary

It is a 24 months general medical specialization training program in Poland in partnership with some of the top Polish Teaching and non-teaching hospitals and American Medical Academy and its Polish subsidiary AMA Poland z.o.o. and also in cooperation with some of the major Indian hospitals.

The program consists of 11 months of Polish language and medical review subjects and 13 months of clinical training at the approved Polish hospital by the Polish Ministry of Health. After completion of the 13 months of clinical training at the Polish hospital/s, successful participants will receive a Polish medical license, after passing the required Polish language exams.

The training program is in English and candidates will be trained under English-speaking Polish Professors but in order to communicate with the patients, candidates need to know the basic Polish language & Medical terminology. Also, upon completion of the program, a candidate is required to pass the Polish language test (this is not advanced but can be passed with two years of training and living in Poland), for securing the Polish Medical License.

Special Note: Upon completion of the 24 months program, including the 13 months of clinical training at the Polish hospitals, candidates are required to take a Polish language test “B level” and pass, prior to receiving the Polish Medical license as a General Practitioner.

Hence candidates will be trained and lived in Poland for about 24 months, they should be able to pass the Polish language test without many hurdles. Also, the candidate can take more than one attempt to pass the language test and can also stay longer in Poland for passing the language test, if required.
