American Medical Academy Inc. (AMA) and Zaporizhzhia State Medical University (ZSMU) have executed an exclusive strategic partnership for establishing and operating AMA Polish campus in Poland, other EU territories and the USA. As per the arrangement, this initial campus was established in Poland, the “AMA Polish Campus' ', and is located in the beautiful Subcarpathian region in Southeastern Poland. The AMA Polish Campus’s operation in Poland is an extension of the ZSMU’s Ukraine medical education program with a lot more value-added for its medical education & its training at the AMA Polish Campus, for the benefit of the participating students, by utilizing ZSMU’s and AMA’s global network of Medical education trainers and healthcare partners.

Zaporizhzhia State Medical University has 120 years of rich history (ZSMU was originally established in 1903). The ZSMU is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and graduates are eligible to apply for Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification. Degrees obtained from ZSMU are accepted by Poland, European Union Countries, Canada, the U.S.A., India, Australia, the UK and worldwide. The AMA Polish Campus is preparing to provide education and training in English to the first group of students (this includes local and all international students) in medicine from the 2023-2024 academic year. First-year classes for this academic year are prepared to start in October 2023 period and the actual starting date of classes will be announced at a later date (depending upon the time AMA Polish  campus in Poland gets its necessary approval from the concerned authorities). Upon completion of the program, those graduates at the AMA Polish Campus would get a Master’s Degree in Medicine “MD” from ZSMU.  

 The AMA Polish campus is managed and administered by AMA’s 100% subsidiary Polish organization “American Medical Academy Poland z.o.o. (AMA Poland z.o.o.) and AMA’s specialists with the cooperation and participation of ZSMU’s Polish team.
